BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

One last check before you submit

01

Check the requirements

For example, a 200 KB limit, JPG format and a 600 × 800 px maximum are separate requirements. Check file size, dimensions and accepted formats individually.

02

Inspect the output

Inspect small text, faces, backgrounds and page order. A converted file does not guarantee acceptance by a website or organization.

03

Keep your original

Keep the downloaded output separate from your original. Closing or reloading this tab clears the workspace and its results.

Common questions

Will a 200 KB target produce exactly 200 KB?

The target is an upper limit, not an exact size. Here, 1 KB means 1,000 bytes. Allow a little margin if the recipient uses a different size calculation or a stricter limit.

Can an image get smaller or less sharp?

JPG and WebP may lose detail during compression. If dimension reduction is allowed, pixel dimensions can shrink too. Check text legibility in the result preview. Images are never upscaled.

Why is PNG sometimes still too large?

PNG does not shrink using a lossy quality slider. For photos, compare JPG or WebP. Use WebP or PNG when transparency matters. Without smaller dimensions, the target may be unreachable.
